Project Overview: Veg Handi Restaurant website design

The project "Indian Veg Restaurant Website Design" aims to create a visually appealing and user-friendly website for an Indian vegetarian restaurant. The website will serve as a digital platform for customers to explore the restaurant's menu, make online reservations, and access relevant information about the establishment. The goal is to provide an immersive and seamless experience that reflects the essence of Indian cuisine and captures the attention of potential customers.

My Role: 

As the UI/UX designer, my role is to design the website's user interface and ensure a smooth and intuitive user experience. I will be responsible for creating visually appealing layouts, selecting appropriate color schemes, choosing suitable typography, and designing interactive elements that enhance the overall user engagement.

Scope:

The scope of this project includes:

• Conducting thorough research on Indian cuisine, restaurant website trends, and target audience preferences.

• Designing wireframes and mockups for the website's main pages, such as the home page, menu page, reservation page, and contact page.

• Creating a visually appealing and cohesive design that reflects the restaurant's brand identity and the culture of Indian cuisine.

• Ensuring a responsive design that adapts well to different screen sizes and devices.

• Conducting usability testing to gather feedback and make iterative improvements to the design.

Problem:

The existing website of the Indian vegetarian restaurant lacks a visually appealing design and intuitive user experience. The lack of clear navigation, and limited functionality make it challenging for users to explore and gather information about the restaurant. This hinders the restaurant's ability to attract and retain customers in the competitive online market.
